Religious Facilities Threat Assessment

Religious institutions are cornerstones of many communities and, as such, can be attractive targets for terrorists intent on intimidation. During this presentation, we discussed potential threats posed to the various religious communities throughout New Jersey, both during this holiday season and in the wake of the Paris attacks. We also discussed measures individuals and organizations can implement to mitigate the risk from these potential terrorist threats.

To date, there is no credible information indicating terrorists or sympathizers are planning specific attacks around the holiday season.
