The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness will sponsor a one-day training course titled, “Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Awareness” (AWR-213). The Texas Engineering Extension Service, a member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, will deliver the course.
COST: There is no cost to attend this workshop.
This course will introduce participants to the key terms, policy, guidance, and preparedness efforts required to safeguard the Nation's critical infrastructure. Participants will review applicable policy and guidance, discuss the risk management framework, describe Federal critical infrastructure security, resilience, and information sharing programs, and relate critical infrastructure programs to individual actions. Primary focus is placed on local preparedness efforts as they relate to the national approach to critical infrastructure security and resilience.
This course is for participants interested in obtaining the Infrastructure Protection Master Certificate. The certificate is for professionals who wish to enrich their personal knowledge and skills related to critical infrastructure security and resilience. Participants can request to receive a Master Certificate once all four courses (AWR-213, MGT-310, MGT-315, and MGT-414) are completed.
