Advancing Fire Service Response through Broadband Technology

The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) will be presenting this workshop in collaboration with FirstNet to familiarize the fire services with the application of broadband wireless technology in a manner that improves the safety of both public safety personnel as well as the public, increases productivity, and provides improved access to and interpretation of data that enhances operational and tactical responses. This service-focused workshop will include speaker presentations, demonstrable scenarios, and discussions of use cases targeted to a day in the life of a firefighter.

COST: None, but please preregister as seating is limited.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
This workshop is recommended for the fire services. PSAP/911 center and emergency management personnel are welcome.


REGISTRATION

There is NO cost to attend this workshop, however spaces are limited and preregistration is required. For your convenience, an online registration is available at: NJOHSP Fire Service Workshop Registration.

The NJ Division of Fire Safety has approved 0.25 continuing education units (CEUs) Technical credit towards renewal of a fire instructor certification for completion of this workshop. A continental breakfast, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and lunch, immediately following the workshop, will be provided.
