The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness is sponsoring a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) three-day training course titled: "Surveillance Detection for Law Enforcement and Security Professionals" (PER-346).
COST: None, but please preregister as seating is limited.
The Surveillance Detection workshop is a three-day, DHS sponsored initiative, which provides guidelines for mitigating risks to critical infrastructure by developing, applying, and employing surveillance detection protective measures through a surveillance detection plan. Instructors explain the fundamentals for detecting surveillance activity as well as how this protective program can be applied to detect and deter potential threats to your facilities and assets. Students apply skills such as observation and reporting, vulnerability analysis, and surveillance detection during practical exercises throughout the course.
This course is designed for law enforcement, security managers and security staff operating in secure and/or open “soft” facilities and provides participants with the skills and knowledge to establish surveillance detection operations to protect critical infrastructure during periods of elevated threat.
