The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC), will be instructing the three-day DHS approved training course entitled, "Wide Area Search” (PER-213).
COST: None, but please preregister as seating is limited.
The discipline applies to a vast number of critical situations including natural disasters or terrorist incidents. Participants are instructed in practical search methods and skills so they can perform systematic searches over a large affected area. The training includes challenging exercises that mirror real life scenarios. The three-day long event concludes with an in-depth exercise that requires participants to utilize the skills gained during the course.
