The New Jersey Regional Intelligence Academy (RIA) will be sponsoring a one day training program titled: “Intelligence Collection Course for Homeland Security Professionals.” The course is scheduled to be held in Monmouth County on Thursday, November 17, 2016. (25 is the class maximum). There is no cost to participate.
This awareness-level training program will focus on ways to plan intelligence collection efforts within state and local public safety agencies.
This one-day awareness course is designed to enhance the skills of intelligence personnel to meet their various investigative and homeland security needs. Participants will learn to contrast different methods for intelligence collection based upon these needs and assess the strengths and weaknesses of collection sources. Participants will work together in the class to integrate multiple collection sources into a comprehensive collection plan for dissemination to intelligence collectors.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to efficiently and effectively implement intelligence collection plans to fulfill intelligence requirements in an effort to improve public safety.
This program is designed for law enforcement, homeland security personnel and intelligence analysts.
