In August of 2014, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (OHSP) began a dramatic reformation of its intelligence capabilities. The new Analysis Bureau was charged with becoming the primary state subject matter experts on terrorism issues for the Governor, Legislature, and other state entities. In order to fulfill that mandate, the Analysis Bureau rebuilt its entire operation and created a highly skilled and motivated team. This presentation will discuss lessons learned from the Analysis Bureau’s first year of operation and how they can be applied to other agencies at little cost.
Rosemary Martorana | Deputy Director, has been with the NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness since 2010 and was named Deputy Director of the Division of Intelligence in August, 2014.
Dean Baratta | Bureau Chief, has been with the NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness since 2011 and was named Chief of the Analysis Bureau in August, 2014.
Kimberly Brown | Deputy Bureau Chief, has been with the NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness since 2006 and was named Deputy Chief of the Analysis Bureau in August, 2014.
