A US Coast Guard Lieutenant arrested on weapon and drug charges is accused of planning a domestic terrorist attack that targeted politicians and journalists. Federal prosecutors said Christopher Paul Hasson, 49, of Silver Spring, Maryland, is a self-identified white nationalist who began stockpiling weapons and researching information on members of the media and Democratic Party, including US Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey, in 2017.
