NJCCIC Executive Order 178 Signing

Governor Chris Christie signed Executive Order 178 establishing the State’s first-ever New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) within the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. 

“The Governor’s actions today recognize the importance of cybersecurity to the State’s homeland security mission and the importance of responding to rapidly evolving threats in both the physical and virtual realms,” said Christopher Rodriguez, Director of New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. “The NJCCIC will allow us to bridge the information and intelligence divide between New Jersey’s public and private sectors.”
