Active Shooter Workshop

The NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness is hosting a one day Active Shooter Workshop. 

COST: None, but please preregister as seating is limited.

DESCRIPTION

This program has been designed to provide public and private sector business and security managers, security personnel and law enforcement officers with the tools needed to develop Active Shooter Plans for their businesses and facilities. The workshop is based on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) training course: Active Shooter: What You Can Do.


It is recommended that participants take the DHS online course “IS-907 Active Shooter: What You Can Do” (course takes approximately 45 minutes to complete)
