Enhanced Sports And Special Events Incident Management: TEEX (MGT-440)

The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness is sponsoring a three-day training program titled: "Enhanced Sports And Special Events Incident Management" (MGT-440). The program will be instructed by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC).

COST: None, but please preregister as seating is limited.

DESCRIPTION

This course is a scenario-based workshop focusing on incident management, crowd and evacuation management, and risk management. The course is intended to prepare for the response to a large-scale incident during sporting or special events. Participants will engage in three, simulation-supported, emergency response exercises designed to hone individual and team decision-making and management skills.
