Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response: LSU (PER-275)

The National Center for Biomedical Research and Training (NCBRT) at Louisiana State University (LSU), a member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC) will be presenting the DHS approved training course entitled, "Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response (LASER) Train the Trainer (TtT) (PER-275).

Cost: None, but spaces are limited and registration is required. 

Description

The Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response (LASER) course encompasses the culmination of this effort. Law enforcement can no longer rely on response tactics of the past. This course addresses technical aspects of planning and implementing a rapid law enforcement deployment to an active shooter incident. This is achieved through classroom presentations, hands-on performance-based field training, and scenario-based practical exercises.
